Blackthorn CEO Says Market Capitalization Can Reach $1 Billion

March 15 (Bloomberg) -- Blackthorn Resources Ltd., the Australian miner part-owned by Glencore International Plc., “could easily” become a billion-dollar company because of its projects portfolio, Chief Executive Officer Scott Lowe told a conference in London today.
Blackthorn’s shares have jumped more than threefold this year in Sydney trading, valuing the company at 209 million Australian dollars ($219 million). Glencore is the biggest investor in the company with a 13 percent stake.
