When it comes to fees for no advice there is actually a very good reason why this happened which you will most likely hear down the line, so far according to the news articles AMP and the nation's big four banks have paid almost $219 million in compensation. Of this AMP has paid approximately say $5 million with probably the majority of people compensated, its a relatively minor incident that has huge consequences. Compared to the banks though AMP's role is quite small.
