Can not help but have a wry grin at the similarities between the parable; The Emperor’s New robes’ and what has been occurring for a long time.
The Emperor is the RI, the weaver being the CEO and the little boy the Market.
The Weaver(CEO) has indeed ‘spun’ a magnificent story to the detriment of the Emperor (RIs)!
Parables aside; when the sp reflects these ‘great’ interviews then Investors will be onto a good thing, until then just another ‘story’, the same one that has been pumped out for years.
The comment that the Australian Market was not sophisticated enough to value the stock properly another ‘good’ story too, not seeing too much of a value recognition by the US market at this time.
