I wonder if bringing in Krause they thought they had their inside man who knew how it all worked?I wonder if he has been on the phone to ex-colleagues asking them what they hell happened? Maybe his influence has been overstated?
More likely there are counter influences that defy logic and reason. This is a world first and the American tendency to stymie outsiders is a known factor before that, and that's before America First had seeped into the system. Krause would be expecting equal treatment and underestimated the growing jingoism/ nationalism, regulation is a very complex situation and egos are involved as well. It's not always a transparent process or incorrupt put it that way. I don't think this is Kraus' or SI's fault.
They are fighting back. And we should be behind that not circling for targets on our side. JIMO
