Not a bit. But proving whether or not the cells DO work and HOW they work potentially can save thousands more lives in the future than just guessing and playing with a small number of lives now. Throughout history good medicine is based on proper scientific methodology.
Sure some discoveries have been made as people discovered new things by accident. But they then went back and carefully examined the evidence and concocted good experiments that proved something worked and often how it worked.

The FDA face this everyday when they evaluate new lifesaving treatments for cancer, heart disease, genetic disorders and so on. There is nothing special about Remestemcel. There is to you because you "believe" it works even though it hasn't really been scientifically proven. The best trials showed no benefit. I hope it works, but I don't know that it does. I'd like to know, and if it does, I'd like to know how.
