Of course SI is getting paid too much for his performance. His base salary is far too high. You would not be saying that for a moment if this binary event had gone through. You and other investors would have granted him millions more in stock options and awards, just as you all have in the past when you did nothing on remuneration votes.

The remuneration goes through at the AGM. Everyone moans about CEO's pay, but take no action at AGM's against it. I do.

There are thousands of global biotechs with CEO's paid even more (and MSB is a global company). I will use a few obvious benchmarks instead. The recent richest man in the world headed a company that had barely made a few quarters of profits. It remains massively in negative shareholder equity and yet the guy was worth $340 billion USD from share grants that shareholders approved. I am not defending SI's salary for a moment, but its a disgrace in a world of far worse disgraces.

People on here high with emotions and need to start investing and acting with more rationale. AGM people => express your dissatisfaction. Vote against the remuneration or stop moaning about it. Vote the guy out by all means. Insist on clarification of the failures at the very minimum.

CEO's salaries are ludicrous across the board. The median pay of the top 20 highest-paid life sciences CEOs in 2022 was approximately $29.2 million—an average of more than 200 times what the companies reported for their median employee pay.

Sarepta CEO Douglas Ingram had highest total salary of all pharma executives in 2022 by far, at $125 million USD!!. The vast majority share awards. The company regularly announces negative net income quarters.

I could go on and on....you did ask the silly question in a world where CEO's are ludicrously rewarded.
