Thanks for the update...
over the last couple of days it appeared that bhp/rio had relaxed a bit in terms of how hard they push each other, but this seems to turning up the heat on bhp to raise the offer...
but they are still reluctant to go to UK takeover panel to use the 'put up or shut up' provision. thats when they are applying the real pressure...
