I just watched the presentation Robbert gave at the recent mining conference in Brisbane, and was happily surprised that he answered a question that I had been wondering about for a long time.
Q: Why was the Glyde 1 well only tested for a short period of time?
The answer, as given in the audio during slide 13 of the presentation, when Robert was talking about the Glyde flare, was: "It got so hot, we had to abandon the flow test."
Also, in slide 15, Robbert talked about the Otway 1 conventional well in Victoria planned for early 2014, which he said is adjacent to two gas plants. He said "when you think about early monetization, all it takes is to throw a hose over the fence and you can start selling that gas to the guys operating that gas plant. It's a really good opportunity for ourselves and Lakes to get some early cash flow"
