Partnership deals have been mentioned many times since early 2020 as part of the strategy to fund the company going forward. Even the sponsored market research paper has put $50m as other revenue (upfront payment) for FY 21 and another $30+m for FY23 (milestone payment). Also the timing of the most recent funding deals and borrowing against government grants just at the end of FY20 indicated to me that the partnership discussions are still going but not yet finalised or terms agreed to. The impending announcements including the calcification studies etc should accelerate the partnership discussions and hence I expect such deal could be concluded sometime around Q2/3 this year.
In my opinion, I would like to see AVR going it all the way to commercialisation just like another local grown med giant CSL.
