Just a reminder that Asia Biotech Invest 2013 kicks off today in Hong Kong. The stated aim of the conference is to “connect biotech companies with Asia’s large investor community to discover and fund the future of biotech.”
CEO Dr Esra Ogru is scheduled to give a Biotech Company Spotlight Presentation this afternoon. Speakers have the opportunity to present their pipelines, discuss their business model and outline investment or partnership opportunities.
Tomorrow Dr Ogru is one of the panelists for a Biotech and Investor Panel: “Successfully raising capital and setting up partnerships in Asia”.
The Ausbiotech site has a list of some of the many investor companies which will be in attendance. Representatives from leading pharma such as Pfizer, Merck, Astra Zaneca, Roche, Sanofi Aventis and Takeda will also be there.
