If US President gets $450,000 (+ accommodation, etc.. etc..)& is the Topmost job of the world ; why these top executives be paid so much more than him? that too many of those companies never see any money other than Share Placements & many others go Belly Up !
My formula for CEO salary is: allow maximum of 20 times of lowest paid worker in that company. For example Comm Bank lowest wage is $35000; CEO can get maximum of $700,000; which I think is good enough encouragement for him to make right decisions.
