Scott Richards presided over the Teva products acquisition. He has also presided over $600m of impairments some of which were Teva products.
If I blew $600m I would expect to get fired. Richards is no different because at the end of the day he is in charge and therefore responsible. Sure some price deflation issues are not of his making but they were there when he purchased Teva.
Is there a better CEO out there? Who knows but the board should be looking otherwise they are not fulfilling their duties to shareholders.
