I think his one big mistake was that timing was perhaps just too early. Which is how I generally feel about my investments. If he’d waited longer than probably get it cheaper or something else. Plenty of distressed products to pickup. At least we are profitable and able to make acquisitions.
i disagree with firing him. He seems to be doing what he can to plug the hole he has created. And his mistake was now years ago - if getting rid of him, should have decided this some time ago, it’s not like there’s been any new info.
if it turns out there is some skeleton in these products we are just finding out about, or some evidence of covering up, then yes we get rid of him and maybe the entire board. But meanwhile, let him try to fix the mess, he seems to have a plan
