I pretty much agree with all you have stated. I'mnot expecting any bang for buck for anything in Brazil(ie higher share price) any time soon, irrespective of what they do.
Dividend? They are probably still making money at these prices, though not much, higher IO price is needed for a bull market to return. Can still give a small 8-10c without any harm to SP.
Extended mine life a definate positive provided costs remain low.
