I'm going to try and not be too negative but say a few words on my thoughts as you wish...
In short - most of the individuals that we discuss and purchase together have cut some/all of our positions; Whilst generally I believe there is some great potential in this business, the communication strategy and investor communication is appalling. To give you something to compare against, We took decent positions into a company called DW8...Go and compare that business in terms of its communication about company progress Vs KTD, then look at share price performance. The management team will come back to shareholders in about 24 hrs... I don't expect that type of service (that's above excellent) but I will not accept weeks and not hear back at all (specially when you take the time to spell out improvements to be considered...most would take the points onboard for discussion).
Regarding Ashley - the conversation was a long time ago, but I couldn't fault him, knowledgeable bloke & well credentialed in the protein supplement space. I will be watching the launch of Tonik Plant into Coles and its take up... I don't see ourselves building a 7 figure holding in its current form - it was the whole point in trying to get in contact prior to increasing our positions... i'm glad in that sense we didn't get caught.
I would like to see this company succeed, it has a real potential to grow into a 200m-350m within 12-18 months... they just need to have a good hard look at them selves with how they go with selling the KTD vision whilst delivering on there plan.
If we choose to increase our positions (success of Tonik plant in coles) you can bet on me giving my thoughts again
