Rob needs a little help from a 'spin doctor' when asked to describe the UCG process. When asked a leading question about a huge furnace like fireball underground, ( hell like - spooky emotional stuff) he had a chance to re-phrase the description of the process and let his chance go by. A slow controlled roast of the coal would have been a better image. Also he failed to emphasise how far underground this 'furnace' would be. The easily scared would be imagining the ground collapsing under their feet and plunging down into a hell like pit.
The fact that a wild hell like fire would combust all the gas, leaving nothing to collect was not made strongly enough. Only around 15% of the energy in the coal is turned into heat to power the process I think.
CXY need to get control of the images used to describe UCG before opponents do the job for them again.
