    FBR lacked the deliverables to ink the deal

    if the Block makers where in a situation where their funding may have gone up in smoke

    they unlike the stock market couldnt get tapped for more funding so too risky

    if they communicated this concern it might have forced the radical restructure

    might be a case of do it yourself for a bit then we jump in , Deal might not be. Completely dead
