In all seriousness, tell me the rationale behind the sell-off.
At $A0.70 to the greenback ($US) and oil per barrel of Brent (we are at a premium to that) at $US120 = aprox. $A170/barrel out of Dorado & Pavo.
The best I have heard is interest rates are rising rapidly. What from 0.10% to 0.85%, and people are spooked. Seriously, I remember interest rates at 15-20% (depending on whether it was a housing or business loan) and people & businesses surviving and thriving. Now they are predicting a cash rate of 2.5% in 2023 - I would have greeted that we enjoy for my housing & business loans. The world has become irrational.
