After getting onto the receptionist for a second time. I'm told that there was no one in the office @ present to take my call. The receptionist took my number & assured me that one of the geologists would return my call (no PR rep?) & that, the geology team were to mobilise to site today.

I will report back here with the information I glean for those who would appreciate an update on the situation.

Meanwhile, the stock price remains in the gutter...

You'd have to think after that. That they don't care much for the front office image and keeping shareholders satisfied or they are determined to run a lean ship while they are still exploring. I don't think you would believe the second part of that.
I'm still not willing to jump ship yet though.
