Fast forward to late December and Phill Wilding's plan for Rox is to be where Capricorn was in 2019 when Macquarie stumped up the cash to make the Karlawinda Gold mine a reality.That's the logical endpoint for the phenomenal pace of development of the Youanmi Gold project this year.
By December, the PFS, updated MRE, Met results, Mine Plan, DFS and FID will all be history.
These are all important derisking milestones.
However, the most significant milestone of all is securing the funding to build the mine.
That’s when the final doubt about the Youanmi Gold Project getting into production will be removed.
Rox already has financial interests that exceed its capital requirements.
Look at the chart of the Capricorn Metals share price.
All the other de-risking boxes were ticked but it was only when the finance was made available that the share price exploded.
It’s been a very profitable ride for Capricorn shareholders; the market valuation of the company has risen from a couple of hundred million to $4.05B.
Rox has the clear and achievable potential to do the same.
Karlawinda was just the start for Capricorn and the Youanmi project will not be the end of the growth story for Rox.
Rox is already eyeing their 60 kms of Youanmi shear zone, arguably the most underexplored and prospective gold-rich area of WA.
