I also think TLS put in a shoddy tender because tehy did not want nor NEED IT.
Let's see the next installment on this political minefield. how does the Gov't now break a promise for NBN?
What words do they use to trick the public into thinking that it is not a broken election promise?
As previously stated, it is not just the Gov't money for the build but a total dependency for life cycle of this fibre network which the Aus taxpayers will have too fund over the next 10-20 years. Money Rudd and Conroy do not need.

Totally agree and word is that Telstra is better off without it. Why tender for something that will provide virtually no return and why did the government not provide services to rural areas years ago instead of funding a white elephant through shareholders??
