In an interview the two CEOs of Zinifex and Oxiana were talking about acquisitions once the merger of equals has taken place. They mentionned Chilean assets in copper zinc and lead. Would it not be nice to be considered a takeover target.
Today we should also benefit from the higher commodity prices and the hunger for commodity related securities. Everybody sees this sector as the place to be in. Therefore I would not be surprised if US money because of the weakening US dollars will move into Aussie commodity stocks.
