At this stage we have suggestions for a CNP/CER amalgamation. Here is one way it would be fair to both parties.
CNP holds about 50% of CER. If you look at its MC it is about 50% the MC of CER. If each CNP holder was given one CER unit for each two CNP shares held it would seem to me to be a fair exchange. It seems the only asset left for CNP is its CER holding.Cancell the shares in CER held by CNP in the exchange. Basically maintains the status quo.
So a new company, new name (important), simple structure and no majority control.
Maybe it is to simple to be practical. Comments please.
