Can't dispute some of the logic but:
(a) if VPG were a takeover target, isn't it a lot easier to gain boardroom control with a fragmented shareholder base?
(b) However much CER wants to distance itself from CNP because of whatever luggage it might bring, it won't. I don't think VPG has the same luggage ahead of it
(c) VPG is interesting in as much it seems to be on an cash accumulation mission... curious and not really sure why. But this compares with CER who is scrambling for cash / debt support...
I hold both and contemplate on a regular base simply trading between the two... can't help but notice during the day strength in one is weakness in the other...
