Enough energy to supply 225,000 homes

REpower have a 36% market share of the Australian wind power market and have been responsible for 6 previous wind power projects in South Australia. Community support brought this this project to the attention of goverment and the company. So prospects look good for this project to
eventuate.

I have been crabbing along this coast and still do since the mid 1950s. The wind is very consistent with strong sea breezes. There is another wind farm about 40 miles down the coast.

Here in Sth Oz we are changing more and more to wind power.
About 20% now from wind with target to 33% but mind you last week when we all got blown away 85% of our power for the week came from wind power. cheaper than coal or gas.
