I have heard second hand (so unsure of validity) that, if you don't set up an international account and just have the certificate, when you do wish to sell that you have to go to Singapore and set up an account with SGX (and also a Singapore Bank account).
Not to everyone's liking but the bonus may be a tax free holiday.
Best to check it out if considering just holding a certificate.
