    My understanding with Commsec is there is a Custody fee for inactive accounts", no trade between Jan and Dec is set at USD 68.00 and foreign Securities Custody fee of 42 per month.

    To hold share at Commsec and no trading for 2014 will cost 80 usd.

    Yes openng of the account does not cost anything.
