Hitman, thats the theory but the practise seems to be a bit different. I have just revisited my Etrade global and asked for a cost estimate to purchase $15000 of NG shares on LSE. That came back showing a brokerage fee of $429. There is obviously something else in their costings. They do not itemise brokerage fees so cant tell how they came up with this figure.

If you have a global account with Etrade then get a quote and see what the fee actually is.
