Where you live sounds just like rural Australia. I have a friend who is a plumber and he is in the Goulburn region of NSW in Australia. That area of Australia has been experiencing unusual rain over the last 12 months and as a result pastures are very wet and you can become bogged easily. He has a number of contracts to service pumps and bores on larger farming properties but he has been unable to attend to this work because mostly once he is on these large properties he has no connection and if he becomes bogged or just simply breaks down he cannot contact anyone for assistance.
I personally laughed at the idea that John Deere had decided to base their system on cloud connectivity as they will most certainly not find many farmers able to take it up.
