I'm not quite sure there is an involvement with Brainchip's technology from what I see so far. I ran across an article that was updated in March 2020, noting that John Deere had acquired an AI company called "Blue River Technology" in 2017.

It seems the original AI was used for the dispensing of pesticides (which they dubbed See & Spray). It would be nice Blue River Technology was tuned into Brainchip and at some point and incorporated the IP, but it is also possible that they have rolled their own solution as well.

We'll just have to wait and see if someone does a teardown of its guts once the tractors are shipping later this year. However, I'm not sure how many people would be willing to do that, those tractors aren't cheap!
