I think they should continue pursue Garden Island. I assume they have to spend the $12.5 million WA govt LEED funding in WA so why not get on with it there. Then maybe go to 20 MW or something similar (Victorian Wave Partners (VWP) are only doing 19 MW!) so hell, downscale the thing from 50 MW to 20 MW and your funding requirement drops markedly. If you can demonstrate a viable 20 MW (or even 5 MW plant) then the race is almost won IMHO.
