I think the only mistake CWE made was not to partner with a large engineering company like Leightons. I note Leighton Holdings are so large they didn't even bother making an announcement about the REDP grant!

Leighton Contractors don't seem to have any particular marine engineering experience so its a bit of a weird one.

Its interesting Victorian Wave Partners still need the extra 2 for 1 funding whereas CWE effectively had it sewn up already.

At least overseas they have EDF EN. I am starting to think they needed a big partner here in Aus but its too late now. Maybe EDF EN can partner with CWE in the southern hemisphere as well under some modified arrangement?
