    there are plenty of very successful retailers on Shopify. The accounts pretty clearly demonstrate the amounts invested and the results speak for themselves. I was attracted by the high asset turnover- it benchmarked very favourably (in my head only, against every other business I’ve ever assessed).

    I think the biggest difference is return on marketing spend (on top of the automation of the platform), which differentiates. Cx also seems better than Farfetch although from what I gather Ssense is possibly better than both!

    I got in a bit earlier but it is always risky paying up for an e-commerce retailer in the context of what could be some temporary factors although the growth pre-Covid argues against that to some extent in this specific instance. There is obviously some key person risk
