I mainly shorted shares , I felt i was paying to much in currencys overnight rates etc , but still made a bit. My stratergy was looking at shares (mining) that hadnt moved like the rest of the herd (down) and focussed on shorting them , worked a treat made very very good money over the last month .
Sitting on the sidelines now looking for a new CFD provider , but still watching the market like I was trading each day. very cloudy at present.
Stop losses I had in place on only a few occassions in regards to Shares , currencys on the other hand can catch you out big time (turn your back then gone ...) shares i had more confidence in as i only follow a select few and they are highly leverged to Gold so was a pretty safe bet.
Been googling a bit on CFDs and to my suprise there are alot of people out there that get burnt .. only times I got taught a lesson is when i was getting to over confident on currencys , as well as being to leverged in overnighters.
