I don't know much about CFD's, but I'm guessing they work a little bit like a bookmaker at the horse races. They make their money by betting against the punters, as long as they can offset the big bets with another bookmaker. When they can't, they probably close up shop for a while till they can work their risk a little better. They're not gonna let you make money unless they make more!
