Most people state they use cfd's for short trades. Is there any reason why I could not use it for a buy and hold strategy? I assume that the interest payable is tax deductible, however, I didn't know previously that you payed interest on the whole amount not just the borrowed part.

Thinking of buying ZFX for a year for div's and capital growth.
