    i didn't go to any seminars, though cmc markets seem to have them on all the time.

    i actually learnt most of what i know about cfd's from reading a few Product Disclosure Statements from a few different CFD providers.

    i read their documents and had a look at their websites and read over all the info about them. Whilst some of the finer points can be a little complicated, the basics of CFD's is very simple.

    my suggestion for you and anyone wanting to get into them, go to a few different providers sites and read over their PDS's, they all are basically the same, but they are all worded slightly differently so you get a better understanding of what they are on about.

    as for platforms and service, dunno much about that. i use GreenCFD, their service and rates are really good, don't really like their platform though. have a friend who uses CMC, he seems happy with it. I have an account with ETrade but i've not used it, i don't like their service much.
