I started off with a $10 000 float so max margin I would use is $500 for one trade.
And I'm guessing no more than 6 trades at one time which equates to $3000.
However some people don't mind maxing out the whole float.
The only time I would do that is if I had guarenteed fixed stops as opposed to just ordinary fixed stops.
