    Who tells you it's more transparent? The DMA providers. And of course they don't have a vested interest in spruiking that!

    It's just another excuse used by bad traders looking for excuses. I've never had a stop hit at a point where the price hadn't traded in the underlying market.

    The real reason behind all the rubbish written on this site is because people don't know what the role of a marketmaker is. Their role is to make a profit WITHOUT taking market risk, it's crazy to think otherwise. A marketmaker makes a risk free profit by buying from one party and selling to another without exposing themselves to the market.

    If the people banging on about marketmakers spent as much time on improving their trading as they did on thinking up conspiracy theories they would do a lot better with their trading.

    I'm happy using a market maker but forget all the nonsense and ignore all the conspiracy theories. Try various platforms for yourself and make up your own mind. It isn't hard!
