Commsec or IG are safest for your funds as Commsec holds its funds with CBA and IG holds its funds with Westpac.

The trading platform software is exactly the same for both.

I trade with Commsec for all my share and CFD trading.

Best thing to do is open a demo account with a few of them and try it out (I did this with IG, Commsec, PLUS500, CMC and TradeDirect365).


This will also test your trading strategy - needless to say that it is always better to lose pretend money than real!
