I have to say I'm impressed with the Ichi links you gave me, especially the IchiWiki one.
I have heard of IchiMoko before and have looked at an Ichi template that is available in my charting software which is Amibroker. But prior to looking at the IchiWiki reference I hadn't seen very much re trade setups including profit and protective stops etc. I'll be going through that reference over the next week or so.
I am currently (over the last 3 months that is) been trading ASX low cap and spec stocks for a bit of fun and a learning experience, and I'm trying to finalise a trade strategy for these types of stocks. I made a fare bit on money back in the early 1990's, you know prior to this internet and charting stuff, by trading spec stocks that appealed to me. I'm pretty sure my success was more luck than talent! This has been a bit of a diversion for me from my CFD trading interests.
Over the past few years I've been looking to develop a CFD trading system focusing on short term (1 to 5 day) trades based on cycle setups, and have spent a lot of time looking at many of the trading systems out there. I think I'm getting closer to what I want but have spent a lot of time feeling very confused. I'm currently searching for a longer period filter that I can use to select the best of the cycle trades that meet my setup conditions. Another challenge for me is how to prioritise the trade setups that arise each day.
Hence my interest in the methods other CFD traders use. Any help or advice is really appreciated.
