Hi all. I have been busy which explains why I have been quiet. This choppy market does not suit my current style as I have posted.
Nordesmic, I agree with the posts so far. CFD's can be a bit like video gaming or on-line gambling.
One point I am not clear on wrt your intention.
If you are looking at using CFD to short you can NOT use your own money. You are not buying anything, you are selling something you do not own. All the cfd provider needs is that you have enough in your account to cover a loss if your stop gets hit or the stock gaps against you on open.
Even if you go long and buy, the idea of CFD in "contract for difference". You are not "investing". It is a trading tool. If you are going to go long, with your own $ than just use your normal broker.
I hope this adds to the discussion.
Cheers
