It's now just over 45 days since the fully franked didvidend was announced.
Holders who bought in just in time for the divi can sell now and get the full franking credit.(see below)
I was interested to see if there would be some selling pressure around this date and it would appear that there is but it is being largely off set by demand.
If this is the case the selling pressure should diminish in the next few days (all things being equal).
Interesting theory anyway...
"The holding period rule requires you to hold shares at risk for at least 45 days (90 days for preference shares) to be eligible for the franking tax offset."
