Yes a real crisis point for Qld and Australian labor as there have been a few messages from internal labor pollies about the overall direction labor have taken since the heady days of Hawke and Keating. I think the Labor party really have lost their base with too much pandaing to the minor issues rather than focussing on jobs/housing/health for working class people. OK Australia overall has changes to so maybe we have moved on from the labor party too but you would think the Labor pollies would be advocating for left policies and programs but most Labor pollies are now removed from every day life that they form a committee of academics to formalise any policies. Keating and Hawke knew this stuff in their DNA as it was lived through them or their parents.
