Seriously guys, who do you believe anymore?

I read the AFR article:
1. "...the board and I are legally bound to look after the interests of all shareholders.” Galt stated."
2. “And frankly, recapitalisation of the company is something we flagged some time back in September.”
3. "as Galt observed, “bond markets require a certain market cap and financial gravitas”.

If so, why did the board let the share price drop to 34c before considering a trading halt and CR? They are basically going to destroy all shareholder value.

How many shares have been short-sold since the failed takeover at $1.70? And who has sold them? Do they know any of the company directors?

So sick of this BS. I was initially critical of Cathay/Chinese, but I have now lost all faith in the directors. Absolute disgrace - they cry foul to the ASX about the takeover and now they propose a BS CR to their instiutional buddies at 25c. What a disgrace the ASX is...
