Naive eh, probably some truth in that. Bit paranoid and delusional also, and I could do with a haircut.

Irrespective of fuel supplies, I think it a positive that technology is finally being presented that can use our resources in a more efficient fashion. And just a fashion it may well be but lets hope we can shrug todays clumsy reality and drag our oil economy kicking and screaming into the new age.

btw I particularly like CFU's position in the scheme of things because it draws on the utilities of old guard oil/gas industries and melds with the potential of new technology. I think CFU is more viable because it uses gas. Call me delusional but I think a lot of people in powerful positions want to see the most made out of oil and gas before we see a convenient transition to a better solution.

Why do you think we are still 'talking' about solar, etc. Do you really think that if we had to we couldnt successfully deploy solar/wind on a grand scale...it just doesnt suit the interests of our worlds 'great' leaders.

Cant rememebr the exact facts, but something like 95% of the wealth is with less than 5% of the people, thats not gonna change anytime soon.
