I think some posters need to take a closer look at what CFU is doing. Most British and many European homes currently have a gas fired hot water boiler. This provides hot water for household use plus heating via water filled radiators. The CFU units will replace these boilers and produce hot water as well as all the electrical needs of the household. The gas supply is already piped into homes. Any excess electrical output will be put back into the grid and supply a credit to the householder. The gas burnt in the fuel cells is used more efficiently than a simple ringburner under a boiler. The householder will probably use less gas and generate not only hot water but electricity as well. Their utility costs will actually fall. The utility companies are considering leasing or renting the units to the householder with electricity credits assisting in the costs which will help those not able to make a large payment to change over to the CFU unit. The units are currently under test by CFU's partners.

There are still hurdles ahead but CFU appears to have a great product and every chance of success.
