No mention of any drought affecting yields. Even their expected yield is quite poor, 300-400 tonnes over 3,200 acres is only .09-.13 tonnes per acre.

Down in Tasmania, the average was 1 tonne per Hectare (.4 tonnes per acre) for 2018 and expected to be "far exceeded" in 2019.

I cant seem to find any reports of Hemp seed failures. Seed/Acre seems to be between 10-15kg of seed. with 20,000 kg available for planting,
even at the higher seed/acre rate, that is 1,333 acres that should have been planted. hardly small scale trials. With a yield of 0.4 tonnes per acre, with 1,333 acres would equate to an expected yield of 533 Tonnes, exactly as estimated in the announcement, so I'm confident this information is all kosher.
