the tunnel took a hundred years to get built and i suppose it'll be a hundred more before it makes any money

the shares in the tunnel were much more fun, BEFORE it got to the planning stage, than after.

it all started with a hole in the ground at folkstone a 100 yrs or so ago. i stand corrected if my memory is wrong. anyone out there old enough to remember ? (i'm toooooooo young). at least the shares in the old tunnel were speccy and interesting. now we have the spanish running GB airports and the french (love em) gettin ready to stuff their end up with rubble. Do what maggie did with the coal mines. Pour milk down. that'll be fun too, he he.

poor ole eurostar. not a star for much longer now eh ? gonna be called the europollieplonker tram. how will the poms get to see micky mouse in paris ? fly ? what ! and trust the spanish to pop us onto the right cheapy jet ! more likely finish up in afghanistan.
