but the demand side is the construct of the 3 previous Govts through reducing funding to universities and TAFEs causing a skills shortage and necessitating huge foreign students and workers.
the Govt (whichever flavour) will need to address the causes of immigration in order to reduce it. easy enough to increase university funding (if they have the revenue) but much more time needed to address the skills shortage the Libs created.
